BREAST SURGERIES

Breast augmentation

The purpose of the breast augmentation surgery is to increase the size of the breast, correcting its shape, proportions and symmetry, through a remodelling plastic surgery with the insertion of breast implants. After a breast augmentation surgery, we suggest using “Revée Bra Laetitia” (Code REV.0301) or “Revée Bra Elodie” (Code REV.0302), combined with the breast belt Revée Belt (Code REV.0202) or Revée Belt (Code REV.0201) to prevent the prostheses from sliding upwards.

Mastopexy

The purpose of mastopexy surgery (or breast lift) is to remodel the breast, lifting it and improving its shape, or to correct its ptosis —i.e. sagging breast, which might also look empty—. Thanks to a breast lift, it will look fuller, more plastic, and thus also more voluminous and firm. After a mastopexy surgery, we suggest using “Revée Bra Laetitia” (Code REV.0301) or “Revée Bra Elodie” (Code REV.0302).

Breast reduction

The purpose of reducing breast surgery is to improve the shape and proportions of the breast, reducing its size for aesthetic reasons —e.g. to improve the look of a woman with an excessively voluminous and/or sagging breast— and functional motivations —e.g. to reduce symptoms such as pain, sense of discomfort to the breast, shoulders, neck, and the upper portion of the spine—. After a breast reduction, we suggest using “Revée Bra Laetitia” (Code REV.0301) or “Revée Bra Elodie” (Code REV.0302).

Prosthetic replacement

A prosthetic replacement is a secondary plastic surgery that takes place due to physiological changes or dissatisfaction with the implanted breast implants. The techniques and indications of prosthetic replacement are basically the same as as those of a breast augmentation surgery. After a prosthetic replacement surgery, we suggest using “Revée Bra Laetitia” (Code REV.0301) or “Revée Bra Elodie” (Code REV.0302), combined with the breast belt Revée Belt (Code REV.0202) or Revée Belt (Code REV.0201) to prevent the prostheses from sliding upwards.

Quadrantectomy

This is a conservative surgery used in the treatment of a non-advanced breast cancer. It consists in the resection of the breast quadrant affected by the neoplasm (upper internal or external, lower internal or external one). It is an alternative to the radical mastectomy in order to limit the consequent aesthetic and psychological damages. Breast reconstruction is performed by remodelling the residual parenchyma or using the mastopexy or mastoplasty techniques. After a quadrantectomy surgery, we suggest using “Revée Bra Elodie” (Code REV.0302).

OTHER SURGERIES

Poland syndrome

The purpose of this surgery on patients suffering from the Poland syndrome is to increase the size of the breast, correcting its shape, proportions and symmetry, through a remodelling plastic surgery with the insertion of breast implants. For men we suggest the use of the vest indicated for gynecomastia, Revée Chest (Code REV.030) or Revée Chest (Code REV.031).

Facelift

The purpose of the facelift surgery is to rejuvenate the appearance of the face. This is achieved by removing excess skin (wrinkles and bags) and by reshaping the underlying muscles —in particular under the chin, on the sides of the mouth, and the cheeks— to restore compactness and volume by stretching the skin, repositioning the muscles of face and neck, with the possibility to intervene also on the fat deficit. After a facelift surgery, we suggest the use of the facelift mask Revée Mask (Code REV.5001), or of the full face mask, Revée Mask (Code REV.5002).

Otoplasty

The purpose of the otoplasty surgery is to correct protruding ears —or, as they are commonly called, sticking-out ears— and other ear imperfections, such as malformations or protuberances of the lobes. After an otoplasty surgery, we suggest the use of the facial band, Revée Mask (Code REV.5003) .

Mentoplasty

The purpose of a mentoplasty surgery is to increase or reduce the protrusion and volume of the chin to obtain a more harmonious face profile. After a mentoplasty surgery, we suggest the use of the facelift mask, Revée Mask (Code REV.5001) .

Liposuction

The purpose of a liposuction surgery is to remove fat deposits that concentrate in certain areas of the body, such as abdomen, flanks, buttocks, thighs, knees, trochanteric region (upper portion of the thighs), calves, ankles, and back. After a liposuction surgery we suggest the use of the liposuction garments Lipo Revée (Codes REV.0101 Codes REV.0101, REV.0102, REV.0103, REV.0104, REV.0105, REV.0106, REV.1351) or of the abdominal binders Revée Binder (26 cm high, REV.0203, or 32 cm high, REV.0204). The choice of model depends on the area of the body affected by the surgery. It will be your surgeon who will indicate the model that suits you best.

Lipo laser

The purpose of a lipo laser surgery is to remove fat deposits and skin concentration in certain areas of the body, such as abdomen, flanks, buttocks, thighs, knees, and trochanteric region (upper portion of the thighs). After a lipo laser surgery we suggest the use of the postoperative garments Lipo Revée (Codes REV.0101, REV.0102, REV.0103, REV.0104, REV.0105, REV.0106, REV.1351, REV.1352) or of the abdominal binders Revée Binder (26 cm high, REV.0203, or 32 cm high, REV.0204). The choice of model depends on the area of the body affected by the surgery. It will be your surgeon who will indicate the model that suits you best.

Gluteoplasty

The purpose of a gluteoplasty is to remodel buttocks by implanting one’s own fat or prostheses to increase their size or correcting their shape. After a gluteoplasty surgery, we suggest using the garments Lipo Revée (Codes REV.0107 and REV.0108). It will be your surgeon who will indicate the model that suits you best.

Arm lift

The purpose of an arm lift surgery is to remove excess fat from the arms. After an arm lift surgery, we suggest using Revée Sleeves (Code REV.200).

Gynecomastia

The purpose of a gynecomastia surgery is to remodel the chest and the male breast, by removing the excessive development of the mammary gland or the fat swelling on the pectoral muscles. After a gynecomastia surgery, we suggest the use of the vest Revée Chest (Code REV.030) or Revée corset(REV.031).

Caesarean section and natural delivery

Following a C-section or natural delivery we suggest a compression therapy to provide support for the loose connective tissue by using Revée post-partum garment (Code REV.1353).

Hysterectomy

After a hysterectomy surgery, we suggest a compression therapy using the postoperative garment Lipo Revée (Code REV.1350) or Revée (Code REV.1353).

Laparocele

A laparocele is the protrusion of viscera from their natural site through an artificial gap. The viscera, wrapped in the peritoneum, are arranged in a more or less voluminous sac in the subcutaneous tissue. This usually occurs after a surgery (e.g. hernia) because the suture of the muscular fascia can get compromised after a certain time, allowing the viscera to protrude. The purpose of the laparocele surgery is to bring the viscera back to its natural place. To cover the gap, the surgeon will use patches —also called prostheses or meshes—, made of a suitable material that needs to be as inert as possible. After a laparocele or hernia surgery we suggest the use of Revée body-style garment (REV.1351) or the elastic binders Revée Binder (26 cm high, Code REV.0203, or 32 cm high, Code REV.0204). It will be your surgeon who will indicate the model that suits you best.
